The owner Bob Linseman is almost always there (he gets the feeva sometimes and has to get in the water to git rid of it!). He's written many books on my favorite subject, we have a couple at the lodge for you to read.

 Gotts Landing  is a full service canoe livery with everything you need for a great day on the water.They have canoes, kayaks, drift boats,and tubes at reasonable rates. With buses or vans they can take any size group you throw at em'.They have all the lotions for sun and bugs too. They also have a marvelous fly fishing shop and a fishing report (Trophy Water Blog). The owner is Steve Priestap, he is a gentleman and is very accomodating to all your needs.

The ASBWPA is a fine organization that works at the local level to preserve and maintain the quality of the water and its fishery. They are even organizing an effort to plant +16" brown trout right here, check them out, its free to join.

River Rock Cabinet Knobs  are made right here at the Big Water Lodge. Folks use them on all sorts of cabinets and furniture. Naturally, you'll see plenty at the cabin. The rocks are chosen right out of the river during our float trips. People always know when we pull our kayaks or canoe out of the river from the loud noise of the river rocks tumbling about in the hull, good thing we don't embarass easily.
